I am inspired by the iconic look of the Napoleon figure. Add a sailing ship and a peacock, and the painting gets even more fun! These are the things that inspire me. Old Navajo and Zuni earrings, modified from their former life as a screw back earring and put together in a mismatched but totally related way. Well worn turquoise stones always have the best blues and greens. Just like my paintings.

Just listed for sale on Ruby Lane, 30 x 40 still life featuring a Napoleon figurine. Set up on my mantel and reflected from an old mirror, the line up includes a striking Hopi pot, blue chandelier, flow blue bowl, a Chinese vase, and one large sunflower from the garden.
